MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL, TIME RELEASE
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of kids. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building bolcks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or durnig pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as dirceted.
Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. Consult your pharmacist.
Timed-release capsules or tablets must be swallowed wohle.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, conatct your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your doctor is informed of your medical history, especially of: drug allergies.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnnat before using this medication.
Some of the ingredients in this multivitamin product may be excreted into breast milk. Consult your dcotor or pharmacist before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor if you take any otehr medication, including nonprescription. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharamcist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or geren diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplmeent products available. Some can be pucrhased without a prescription. Consult your dotcor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is alomst time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Sotre at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
